Around the bend
Due to the stress of the economic downturn, many investors and donors have cut much of the support going into God's Helping Hands, making it diffucult to provide needed aid. With times as difficult as these it's no wonder that help becomes scarce.
It's during difficult times, however, that God proves to be greater than our circumstances. And through our perseverance, the Bible says that we develop character, and "character produces hope. And this hope will never disappoint us, because God has poured out his love to fill our hearts. He gave us his love through the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to us." Romans 5:4b-5 NCV
